Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Always Active

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. Without them, you cannot log in to your dashboard or use authenticated features. They are always active and cannot be disabled.

Examples:

  • Authentication session token (JWT)
  • CSRF protection token
  • Subscription and plan status

Functional Cookies

Optional

These cookies remember your preferences across sessions, such as your chosen color theme or the last bot you were editing. Disabling them means these preferences will reset when you close your browser.

Examples:

  • UI preferences (theme: light/dark)
  • Dashboard layout preferences
  • Last-selected bot

Analytics Cookies

Optional

We use analytics to understand how the platform is used — which pages are visited most, which features are used, and where errors occur. This data is aggregated and never identifies you personally. It helps us prioritize improvements.

  • Error reporting

Third-Party Integration Cookies

Optional

When you use third-party integrations such as Google Sign-In or Stripe for billing, those providers may set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies. GetBot does not control these cookies.

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Google OAuth (sign-in with Google)

Widget Cookies

GetBot's embeddable chat widget runs inside a sandboxed <iframe> on your clients' websites. The widget may set a session cookie to maintain conversation context for a visitor across page views. This cookie:

  • Is scoped to the getbot.site domain, not your client's website domain.
  • Contains only an anonymous session identifier — no personal data.
  • Is used solely to maintain conversation continuity for that visitor's session.

How to Manage Cookies

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View all cookies stored by websites you visit.
  • Delete cookies individually or in bulk.
  • Block cookies from specific sites or block all cookies by default.

Note: Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the GetBot platform.
